The Orange County area labor pool includes Orange, Dutchess, Rockland,
Sullivan, and Ulster counties in New York State, Pike and Wayne counties in
Pennsylvania, and Sussex County, NJ. Our labor pool consists of over
518,200 households with the total population exceeding 2.4 million. The civilian
labor force numbers approximately 564,000, and the labor pool contains
approximately 30,000 unemployed people who are actively seeking work.
